Nkdware launched in May 2020 as my own entrepreneurial venture. The brand’s mission is to reconnect consumers with the origins of the products they use—highlighting the meaning of materials, tradition, the maker, and the manufacturing process behind each piece.
I created the brand’s mission, visual identity, and overall concept. I’m also responsible for product design and development, as well as sourcing and managing supplier relationships.
Nkdware’s design aesthetic centers on celebrating raw materials, traditional methods, and the people behind each object. The first collection emphasized co-creation: three ceramicists from different cultural backgrounds were invited to create the same vase design, each interpreting it through their own aesthetic lens and using local materials and techniques.
The graphic identity is created by Giulia Garbin Studio - logo, fonts and stamp.
